Catalan and Spanish: language and culture courses valid for arraigo
Catalan and Spanish courses with a linguistic and cultural focus, suitable for arraigo. Learn the language and experience Catalan culture to fully integrate into society.
· 45 hours
· New groups each month
Objectives and Methodology
Residency (arraigo in Spanish) from the word “Root,” means to put down roots in a place, to integrate. The social integration report (informe de arraigo social) is the document that certifies your social integration in Catalonia. For this reason, it is essential to learn the local language and culture.
The aim of these courses is to deepen and expand your interest and knowledge about the place where you are going to put down roots.
In these classes, we focus on oral communication for everyday life, aiming to help you hold basic conversations and understand different social and cultural aspects of life in Barcelona.
We use our own materials and adapted textbooks, and the classes are highly interactive and centered on oral practice in the classroom.
The program also includes a guided tour of official buildings and a final celebration with the delivery of a certificate of completion, valid for the social integration (arraigo social) application.
