Mission

BCNLIP Foundation’s mission is to contribute to building a more fair and equal society. To do this, we have developed educational programs for people at risk of educational exclusion, offering them opportunities for linguistic and professional training. Another key pillar is the creation and execution of cultural projects and activities that foster social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and citizen participation.  

Vision

To be a reference in promoting social and educational inclusion through the teaching of Spanish and Catalan, contributing to building a more diverse, equitable, and cohesive society. Our goal is to be a driver of transformation, where education and culture serve as bridges to connect people from different backgrounds and realities, boosting their participation in the community and the professional sphere.

Our Goals

  • Develop and promote the teaching of Spanish and Catalan as a means for full social inclusion and cultural immersion for people in Catalonia, Spain, and other countries, especially those at risk of social exclusion for any reason, such as age, gender, sexual orientation, education, race, color, or ethnic origin.
  • Identify, train, and support illiterate migrants to help them learn Spanish and Catalan and better integrate into society.
  • Offer comprehensive language education in Spanish and Catalan through immersive programs and courses designed by experts with extensive training and experience in the field.
  • Develop and deliver courses, seminars, and activities, support teaching and research in all areas of vocational, professional, and continuous education related to the teaching of Spanish and Catalan, with special attention to the social, professional, and cultural spheres.
  • Foster professional training, entrepreneurial skills, and creative leisure activities for individuals using Spanish and Catalan as a second or third language.
  • Pursue innovation in the field of Spanish and Catalan language teaching, contributing to students’ integration into the professional, social, and cultural spheres.
  • Integrate migrant students into neighborhood life by organizing cultural activities, promoting their active participation in the local community. We aim to create an inclusive environment where they feel part of the daily life in their area, strengthening intercultural ties and valuing diversity as an enriching asset.
  •  Promote quality assessment programs, accreditation, and certification in all teaching, research, and training activities related to our programs.
  • Foster cooperation and research alliances between the Foundation and various organizations from the public, private, and social sectors.
  •  Promote education and culture as fundamental rights and drivers for integration and collective progress, helping build a more inclusive and prosperous society.
  • Promote and develop various artistic and cultural activities and projects that allow community participation
  • Highlight and support the development of existing cultural manifestations in the territories.

Education and Social Integration

The BCNLIP Foundation was created with the purpose of working in two fundamental areas for human development: education and culture.

We offer programs that foster the social integration of people at risk of educational exclusion through teaching Catalan and Spanish, as well as programs that promote their participation in the local territory through artistic, social, and community activities, strengthening intercultural ties and valuing diversity as an enriching asset.

Cultural Area

The Foundation also has a Cultural Area responsible for organizing and promoting activities, actions, and projects aimed at the public, fostering inclusion and opening participation to democratic spaces that promote dialogue between the cultures present in Barcelona.
