Program

This walking tour through Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, led by historian Lluís Pérez, invites us to explore sites in the neighborhood that reflect how the city has engaged with migration since its origins.

• SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025

• 16:00 – 17:45

• Starting point: Pati Llimona Civic Center. C/ Regomir 3, Barcelona

This is an invitation to listen to a live reading of stories by migrants—a gathering to share and create a space for dialogue with the audience.

For the past seven years, the En Paraules collective [migrant stories] has been a space for writing, memory-building, and community for migrants and refugees living in Barcelona. Through creative writing workshops, a polyphony of voices has emerged, narrating the experience of migration from an intimate, literary, and human perspective. These authors present an experience that includes a live reading and an interaction with the audience, to share reflections and stories about migration and words.
