Cultural Immersion
The BCNLIP Foundation promotes a learning model where the language is experienced beyond the classroom. The linguistic and intercultural immersion classes allow students to practice Spanish in real-life contexts, facilitating their integration into the social and cultural life of Barcelona.
Through activities adapted to each level, participants interact with their surroundings, developing communication skills while discovering the city’s services, history, and traditions. These experiences foster not only language learning but also intercultural understanding, which is essential for full and conscious integration.
Some of the activities offered include:
Level A1.0:
Visit to the “Mercat dels Encants” to practice vocabulary related to commerce.
Level A1.0+
Interactive route “Living in Barcelona”, where students get to know basic services such as healthcare, libraries, city hall, or the police station.
Level A1.1
Cultural scavenger hunt through the neighborhood, combining play and learning about local history and culture.
Level A1.1+
Visit to the market to work on vocabulary related to food and traditional recipes.
Level A2
Creation of a personalized route where students present places of interest in the neighborhood, promoting oral expression and local knowledge.
Level A2+
Visit to the Olympic Museum, focused on vocabulary related to the body and sports, linking language and culture.
Level B1.1

These classes reinforce the BCNLIP Foundation’s commitment to participatory teaching, based on direct interaction with the social context and the promotion of values such as diversity and intercultural coexistence.
