Echoes of Barcelona | South Asia
Did you know that South Asia is one of the most diverse and culturally rich regions in the world, including countries such as India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh? And that its presence in Barcelona is increasingly integrated into the life of our neighborhoods? We invite you to take part in two complementary activities to get closer to this fascinating region.
On the one hand, we will take a cultural tour of Barcelona to discover spaces linked to South Asian communities and learn about their footprint in the city. We will explore cultural, religious, and social elements from countries such as Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh, which coexist and enrich our urban environment.
On the other hand, we will open a space for dialogue with the public, where we will address topics such as Indian culture, the Punjab region, and the Sikh religion, in order to generate an enriching exchange between contexts and experiences.
A unique opportunity to get a closer look at South Asia!
